About Us
Background
Nexus Centre for Research and Innovations (NCRI) founded in 2020, operates as an autonomous organization with a dedicated mission. Its establishment aims to rectify the existing gaps in research education, comprehension and application, and innovations development among diverse stakeholders. NCRI takes the lead in fostering a culture of robust research education, training, and innovation development. This is achieved through proactive engagement and collaboration with various stakeholders.
The initiative stems from the realization that research education in higher learning institutions often leaves undergraduates, graduates, and postgraduates inadequately prepared to understand and apply research in their everyday challenges. This inadequacy is further exacerbated by the limited engagement between supervisors and students, as well as the absence of supportive mechanisms and environments. NCRI addresses these issues by actively involving stakeholders in comprehensive and practical research education and training programs
