Research has greater value when it stays connected to the communities and institutions it aims to serve. During this outdoor engagement activity, NexusCRI shared space with participants gathered alongside displays from Nexus Centre and the Islamic University in Uganda.

The gathering created a visible point of connection between research, health education and community participation. It also showed how institutional engagement can open conversations and make research more accessible beyond formal meeting rooms.

This activity forms part of NexusCRI’s wider commitment to building relationships across education, health and research. These connections create a stronger foundation for continued learning, knowledge-sharing and collaborative work.
